Check out 4th of July festivities and events and where you can watch fireworks in the Brainerd Lakes Area!

June 27

Arts in the Park: Is a week before the 4th of July at Gregory Park. You’ll find local artists and vendors and entertainment from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

July 4

4th of July Parade: The 4th of July Parade, which will be themed for Brainerd’s 150-year anniversary, is near downtown Brainerd on July 4 at 6:00 p.m. It starts near Kiwanis Park, travels north on East River Road, to Laurel Street, South 5th Street, and then heads south to College Drive.

July 4

Watch the Brainerd fireworks over Don Adamson Field starting around 10:15 p.m. The high school hill won’t be available because of construction. But the grandstand bleachers will be open for seating! You must enter at the western gates along the East River Road. Tune in to B93.3 as they’re doing a special broadcast before the fireworks and playing patriotic music during the display.

July 4

Madden’s and Cragun’s on Gull Lake partner to provide fireworks starting around 10 p.m. You can watch from the East Gull Lake airport, the Madden’s driving range on County Road 77, or watch by boat on the south end of Gull Lake. 

July 3

Join us on the water or on the shores of Cross Lake to watch the 51st Annual Fireworks Display launched from Sand Island at dusk (around 10:00 p.m.). Tune in to Skeeter 101.5 for music choreographed to the display!  

July 4

Head to Crosby for a 4th of July Celebration with a parade starting at 12:00 p.m. After the parade, you’ll find Crosby Memorial Park full of food vendors, live music, and a beer garden. Watch the fireworks show at dusk over beautiful Serpent Lake.

Enjoy spectacular fireworks at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Resort. See the show from the shores of Ruttger’s or from the waters of Bay Lake. Grab a bite to eat before the fireworks. Open to the public. Show starts at dusk. 

July 3

Come to downtown Nisswa to celebrate Freedom Days! You’ll find activities, like turtle races water wars, and a parade. Parade begins at 7:00 p.m. Enjoy live music before and after the parade, too! 

July 3

Celebrate America’s independence in Pequot Lakes at Stars & Stripes Days. Many activities and events are happening near Trailside Park beginning at 5:00 p.m. You’ll find food vendors, kids’ bungee trampoline and bounce house, beer garden, bean bag toss tournament, and live music. Be sure to stay for the fireworks show, which starts at 10:10 p.m.

July 4

Begin the day with a pancake breakfast at 7:00 a.m. Activities are happening all day at Trailside Park: craft fair, kiddie parade, bed races, and Stars & Stripes parade events you don’t want to miss.

July 3

You can watch the Breezy Point Resort fireworks from the resort or from the water on Pelican Lake. The fireworks show starts at dusk. Open to the public!
