With the Thanksgiving holiday fast-approaching, you may be thinking of changing up your family traditions. Spend the holiday at one of our lodging properties. The 14th season of the Sertoma Winter Wonderland light display is almost here. Drive through the Northland Arboretum to see the beautiful light displays set in the beautiful wooded backdrop. It’s the perfect social distance event for families to enjoy. Gates open at 5:30 on Nov. 26. It’s $15 per vehicle at the gate. You can buy advanced tickets across the Lakes Area for $10 at Cub Foods, Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union, the Brainerd Dispatch, and the Northland Arboretum.
The Nisswa City of Lights is a delightful holiday tradition for all ages. Head to downtown Nisswa on Nov. 27 to see the Christmas lights, ride the horse-drawn wagon rides, take a photo with live reindeer, listen to story hour, warm up at the bonfires, and watch fireworks.
Come to downtown Pequot Lakes and drive around the town square to check out the holiday light display. This event kicks off on Dec. 2 and runs all holiday season. This is another event that is perfect for families to enjoy holiday cheer while also social distancing. Downtown businesses are open, and you just might find that perfect-one-of-a-kind gift for those special people in your life.
