We’re diverse in many areas, and our food scene is no exception! You could enjoy a different culinary delight each night you’re here no matter your mood: fine dining, dockside, grab-n-go, and sweet treats. And if you’re at the lake or pool, take out or catering options mean you don’t have to leave your lodging property!

#1. Fine Dining

Enjoying a nice meal while on vacation is a real treat. Many of our local chefs are constantly creating and inventing new and flavorful dishes. Most of our upscale restaurants require reservations and may have limited hours, so plan ahead.

#2. Catering

If you are feeding a crowd but don’t want to cook, get your meals catered! Our catering businesses will work with you to create a menu. Some may even come and set up, serve, and clean up giving you more time to enjoy your vacation.

#3. On-the-Go

Sometimes you just need to grab a quick meal when you’re on the run to your next adventure. Burgers, subs, soups, and pizza are just some of the quick bites you can find. If you’re on the water, some of our bigger chains of lakes have dockside food service. Grabbing food while watching the sun go down is the perfect end to a good day!

#4. Specialty

Authentic Italian food. Gourmet coffee. BBQ. Sushi. Walleye. You can find many authentic and tasty dishes across the Lakes Area. Many restaurants use seasonal and locally sourced ingredients to give your specialty dishes local flair.

Don’t forget to save room for dessert! Ice cream on a hot summer evening. Or maybe some handmade chocolates (drool). Pie that’s too pretty to eat—almost. From homemade baked goods, ice cream, and eclectic candy, you’ll satisfy that sweet tooth!
