The Brainerd Lakes Chamber & Welcome Center invites the community to help choose this year’s official Bigfoot name. Visit the Welcome Center to submit your best name idea and be part of a fun local tradition.
The selected name will be featured throughout the year, and the winning entry will earn community recognition as the official name creator.

Name Submission Period: May 22 – 28
Community Voting: May 29 – June 3
Official Name Reveal: June 5 at 1:00 PM
How to Participate
Visit the Welcome Center during regular business hours to submit your name suggestion. Participants are encouraged to get creative and have fun while helping us continue the Bigfoot tradition in the Brainerd Lakes Area.
