Course Conditions

Golf pros report that courses will be in great shape.

“2022 is shaping up to be a great season!” said Gregg Gamble, owner of Emily Greens.

“All [Breezy Point] courses seem to have wintered well and will bloom as soon as spring temperatures rise,” said Mark Neva, Head PGA Pro and Deacon’s Manager.

“A blanket of snow provided ideal conditions for protecting the turf during the winter months,” said Glenn Hagberg, Head PGA Pro at Madden’s on Gull Lake. “As the grass has begun to reappear this spring, all signs point to everything coming through very well! The moisture should help everything green up quickly, and we anticipate the courses conditions to be very good right away.”

Crosswoods came through the winter in terrific condition. We’ve already started to mow greens and change cups on the 18 holes that are open for play,” said Mike Stone owner of Crosswoods. “By early next week we will be in full operation with 27 holes. We are looking forward to a great golf season. We love how many people are (re)discovering the game. See you on the links!”

“We’re very excited to get the golf season started at Cragun’s Legacy Courses! The snow is finally gone and it’s great to see grass showing,” said Jack Wawro, Director of Golf at Cragun’s Legacy Courses. “We have a big season planned with the opening of many of our renovated holes on the Dutch 27 along with the grand opening on the new Lehman 18 later this year. See you on the golf course soon!”

Golden Eagle fared well over the long winter, and we’re getting closer to opening soon. Watch our social media and website for updates,” said Aaron Johnson, Director of Golf & Grounds.
