Area Courses in Great Condition

Golf pros have reported that courses are in great shape, and they’re excited for the 2024 golf season.

“Cragun’s Legacy Courses came through [the winter] in fantastic condition. We focused on tree removal and wetland cleanup, which has made the courses even more playable.” —Jack Wawro, Director of Golf at Cragun’s Legacy Courses

“Lots of improvements [at Madden’s] with the new 19th hole deck and clubhouse, improvements at Pine Beach East, and renovations at the Airport Driving Range.” —Glenn Hagberg, Head Golf Pro, Madden’s on Gull Lake

“All 27 holes came through winter in excellent condition, and we’ve even started mowing greens. Fairways are getting greener with the warm weather and timely rain. We’re excited for our new Northwoods Junior Golf Adventure—clinics, junior memberships, and private lessons available through this program.” —Mike Stone, Crosswoods Golf Course

“We’re looking forward to another busy golf season. New this year is custom Mizuno fittings and four top-of-the-line golf simulators, which are available at our new restaurant, The North Star.” —Breezy Point Resort
