You can also travel area trails, such as the 77.6-mile Paul Bunyan Trail, that will give you an intimate look at the best of nature in the region. The area is also home to the 54-mile Paul Bunyan National Scenic Byway which is a looped road route that travels both north around the Whitefish Chain and south along the north side of Pelican Lake.
