Not only are area residents hard-working and responsible, they also give back to their community. Service clubs and organizations are very popular in this region, providing everything from fund-raising for vital services to a social outlet for every aged resident. Some groups are political-based; others purely social. Most, though, strive to make not only members, but the entire community, a better place to live.
