Staples is home to The Living Legacy Garden, a public garden established in 2001 at the Central Lakes College Ag Center. The 10-acre garden is designed to offer life-long learning in a beautiful garden setting open to the public.

The Batcher Opera House Block provides a welcome addition to early twentieth century Staples, housing a cultural enclave offering of not only vaudevillian fare, but also comprehensive performances.
