The state of Minnesota offers open enrollment for all students, so Lake Shore children may attend any one of the quality schools within the Brainerd Lakes Area. Many Lake Shore children attend Brainerd Public Schools, district 181. Others attend Pillager and Pequot Lakes Public Schools.
