The Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area is the heart and soul of this area. Crosby has been named the “Antique Capital of Minnesota,” offering a delightful assortment of antique stores. A new medical complex is the perfect complement to this historic community on Serpent Lake.

Be sure to participate in the fantastic July 4 festivities. Celebrate the history of the Cuyuna area during the annual Heritage Days in August. Winter fun includes the annual ice fishing contest on Serpent Lake and the Vintage Scorpion Snowmobile Homecoming.

Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber is the voice of business in the region. The Chamber advocates for business, markets the region, and provides programs to help businesses succeed. The Brainerd Lakes Area Chambers of Commerce has four locations in the lakes area: the administrative office is located in Brainerd, and Welcome Centers are located at the rest area 8 miles south of Baxter’s Hwy 210 and 371 intersection; at the Trailside building in Pequot Lakes, and across from the Crosslake Dam.
