Available and appropriately priced housing that meets demographic needs is important to the economic vitality of the entire Lakes Area.

The Breezy Point section of the Housing Study illustrates demographic profiles, trends and current and future housing needs and is an outstanding tool for communities and developers. The complete Housing Study1 encompasses the area considered "the Brainerd Lakes Area", which is all of Crow Wing County and portions of Aitkin, Cass, Mille Lacs and Morrison Counties. Sections are broken down by individual community.

Whether you are ready to build, rent, or buy, there are a multitude of options.

1 The housing study was originally conducted in 1997 when Community Partners Research, Inc., was hired by the Crow Wing County Housing Task Force to conduct a study of the housing needs and conditions in the cities in Crow Wing County. A 2002 update was then prepared for the Brainerd Housing and Redevelopment Authority as a follow-up to that original Housing Study.
