Business Day at the Capitol

Before dawn, Chamber members hop on a coach bus and travel to St. Paul for a day of meetings about key business issues and meetings with our State Legislators. We join over 500 business people from across the State for this important lobbying event. The fee to attend is around $55 per person.

Expo & Holiday Extravaganza

Celebrate the holiday season with fellow
Chamber members amidst spectacular holiday decor. Network with
hundreds of your business neighbors while visiting sixty Chamber
member exhibits. Hors d'oeuvres,
cash bar, and silent auction. Held in December at Madden's Resort
Town Hall from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m., free to members (not
available to non-members).

self promotion" for the attendees and the event sponsor.
Attendees are invited to donate door prizes. C.H.O.W. is
held on the first Wednesday and the last Thursday of each month. Fee to attend:

Eggs 'n
Issues Legislative Breakfast

Join our area legislators for a lively
discussion about issues impacting business. Hear what is happening
at the Capitol, share comments in a structured but comfortable
meeting environment. Attendees inform the facilitator about the
issues they want to discuss, and then the legislators respond
to questions or comments, as well as share their priorities on
behalf of their District. Held two to three times per year from 7:30 - 9 a.m. (not available to non-members).

Golf Tournament
More Information & Registration | Lunch Sponsorship
Participate in the lakes area's premier
golf event and raise funds for the Chamber operations. The event
starts with lunch on the patio, then golf, followed by a social
and dinner. Everyone golfing is entered into a drawing for almost
$5,000 in prizes. Guests are welcome to attend the dinner for
an additional fee. Held in August at the Legacy Courses at Cragun's
for up to 72 teams of five people and 36 Business on the Tee
options. The golf fee to participate: $700 per team or $140 per
individual (not available to non-members).

Hospitality Socials

a topic important to the hospitality industry, updates about
Chamber destination marketing, and hors d'oeuvres and refreshments
provided by the host business. Held in November and April from
5:30 –- 7:30 p.m. for hospitality members, at no charge

Lakes Vybe

This Chamber program links people ages 21-40 by offering educational programs and networking opportunities in order to enhance professional skills and create a sense of belonging within the business community. The objectives of the group are:
- Connect young people in the Brainerd Lakes Area
- Create a connection between veteran professionals and the emerging leaders of the community
- Build confidence in young professionals
- Provide networking opportunities amongst people of the same age group and professional level
- Encourage young people to get involved in the Chamber and community
- Offer educational opportunities of interest to young professionals. A fee to participate in the events may be required.

Progressive Power Lunch

During this fast paced luncheon you will progress through three courses of your meal while networking with new tablemates during each course. You have to eat anyway, so take this opportunity to make your business grow! Held the third Thursday for $15 per person during various months (not available to non-members). Attendance: Limited to 50 people; two people per business.

Speed Networking Lunch

You'll enjoy quality, structured
time with about 15 different people during this hour-long event.
You'll use 30 seconds to share a quick overview of your
business, then 90 seconds to find out how the person you're
talking with can help grow your business. By meeting a lot of
people, you have a better chance of meeting ideal contacts. Eat your lunch from 11:30 –- 11:55
a.m., then the networking runs from 12 –- 1 p.m. The fee
to attend is $10 per person (not available to non-members). Attendance:
Limited to 30 people, one per member business, two member businesses per category on a first come, first serve basis.
